As his main tool as webdesigner is a MacBook Air, we chose to include it in the shoot.

The shooting took place in Stockholm early October 2011, and took meerly a couple of hours during which we visited two spots. To the left is one of the pictures that made it to the end.

They also wanted a longer film to describe the company as a whole. The project ended up being a three language DVD, including menu system and subtitling. The videologs included one of Swedens most famous music-photographers Emma Svensson and can be seen below in part 3.

Athanse Media created a shoulder rig setup for DSLR videographers, mostly built of wood.

The base of the shoulder rig is made out of a one birch branch. Most parts for the follow focus are bought in an R/C-shop.

Pros and Cons of the rig

Pros
  • Very stable construction
  • Easy to pull focus without having to let go of the rig with any hand
  • Beautiful, a piece of art
Cons
  • Focus pulling made specially for my all around Tamron 17-50 lens
  • Does not fold
  • Hose clamp not so easy to assemble, will be replaced *

* UPDATE 2011/06/19

Have replaced the hose clamp for a fixed metal ring that slides in over the lens when zoomed in, then matches focus ring perfectly when pushed toward it. A big time saver!

The photo was taken in Dalarna, Sweden on a winter afternoon. Since the story is about Harry that finds a small piece of metal on the ground where the saucer lands, we let the metal piece be the center of attention.

Manu Chao, The Hives, Kent, Håkan Hellström and Thåström were some of the artists  at the festival.

The main purpose of the pictures was to help market the area in Sweden where the festival took place, Dalarna. The pictures ended up being used in a brochure representing “Things to do in Dalarna”.
